First Day of Preschool

Today Ethan and I went to his first day of preschool. It is a Mommy & Me class so I get to go with him. Thank goodness because I am not ready for him to go to school alone just yet. The class is one day a week for an hour and a half. The class is an introduction to preschool so that when the time comes to send him off, it will be a little easier for him...and hopefully me too!

Here he is ready to go to school.
When we walked into his classroom, he ran right over to his teacher (whom he has never met before) and gave her a huge hug. After we sign in, it is freeplay. Here is Ethan playing with playdough.
Then he found the trains!!!
His friend's Lily & Mason from music class are in this class too! Here they are doing dot art.
Concentrating on his artwork.
Time for stamping with his teacher.
Ethan was the first one done with his snack so his teacher asked him if he would like to help take the wagon of sand toys outside for the class. He jumped at the fun job and took it very seriously.
Playing with Lily in the sand.
Going down the slide with Mason.
When the class was done playing outside, Ethan insisted on being the one to take the wagon back inside. He is definitely going to be the teacher's little helper.
