The Last Weekend in May

Ethan's new favorite thing to do in the backyard is sweeping the dirt. We will be getting grass here in the next few weeks!!! So exciting!!!

Ethan just loves playing outside. Here he is in a huge hole in our backyard where our jacuzzi is going to go. Dangerous, I know, but Papa is in the hole with him.

On Saturday night Dan surprised me and took me to see Dane Cook at the Staples Center. We sat in the 7th row!!!

On Sunday morning we met our newlywed friends, The Parkers, at The Vines for brunch. If you haven't had brunch here, you should. It is so yummy! Thanks you two for a lovely morning.

So Ethan Thinks He Can Dance

One of our favorite shows is So You Think You Can Dance. If you haven't seen it yet, you have to! If you are a huge Dancing with the Stars fan, this show is a million times better! Ethan loves watching all the crazy dancers. It is hilarious when he tries to dance just like them. Here is a video of him trying to do a little bit of break dancing....priceless!

My Gym Open House

Today we met our friends Kelly and Dylan at My Gym's Open House. Ethan had such a great time playing...especially with the basketball hoop. We can't wait to go back and play.

Little Man, Big Bath

Today Grandma put Ethan in her bathtub to take a bath. How cute is he?

Drinking Yogurt

I recently started buying liquid yogurt and letting Ethan drink it through a straw. The very first time he did it I put two straws in it and took a sip. Now, every time I give him his yogurt drink, I have to drink it with him. This little guy doesn't forget anything! Here we are sharing our yogurt drink.

Happy Birthday GG!

Today was Dan's mom's birthday. We all went down to Downtown Disney and had a great day. I am so sad we didn't get any pictures with the birthday girl.

A Busy Weekend

We started out our lovely weekend with a visit from Buddy and Emery. Ethan had a great time playing with them in our backyard. On Friday evening we went over to Uncle Travis & Auntie Jenn's pool for a little swim. On Saturday we had breakfast in Santa Monica with our friend's Sean & Rochelle. We spent the day walking around Santa Monica, playing at a park in Beverly Hills, and eating lunch in West Hollywood. It was such a fun day! On Sunday after church we went to the Baby Expo held at Henry Mayo. It was over 100 degrees that day so we didn't have too much fun there. Then, we went to Ethan's friend, Brennan's 2nd birthday party at Valencia Meadows Park. Ethan got some pizza and cake so he was a happy camper. To end our long weekend we had dinner at Uncle Mike & Auntie Jade's house. She just got two kittens and Ethan had much fun playing with them. Thanks to everyone who made our weekend a GREAT one!

Daddy does this new thing with Ethan that he absolutely LOVES! From our house to the freeway is about 2 miles. Dan opens all the windows in the car and goes "fast." Ethan gets so excited and loves the wind blowing in his face. He now asks for it every time he gets in the car.

Disneyland AGAIN!

Today Ethan and I went to Disneyland with our friend Alison. We had such a fun time today. Our first two visits to Disney we never saw Mickey Mouse. This time we saw him all over the park. Ethan rode the Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted House...what a huge accomplishment! He thoroughly enjoyed the Tea Cups and Small World again and loved going in Mickey and Minnie's house. At the end of the day we decided to head over the CA Adventure for a couple of hours. When that park closed, we went back over to Disneyland to watch a parade/show. Again, the weather was perfect and it wasn't crowded. Two things that either make or break your day there. We can't wait to go back!

Mother's Day at the Zoo

For Mother's Day we went to the Santa Barbara Zoo. GG, Papa, Auntie Jade, and Uncle Mike joined us and we had such a wonderful day in Santa Barbara. The weather was just perfect and the zoo wasn't crowded. I think we saw every animal there...and of course, the alligators and the otters were Ethan's favorite!
