My Birthday at Disneyland!!!

Today I took Ethan to Disneyland for my birthday! My good friend Kelly has the same birthday as I do and her son is only 3 months older than Ethan. They have been buds since they were born. The day was fabulous! Minus the millions of people that decided to go to Disneyland on OUR birthday...how dare they! Kelly and I both got in for free since it was our birthday and Dylan and Ethan got in free because they were under 3. So all in all we spent $12 to park and $4 each on a frozen lemonade. What a great day!

We didn't get any pictures of us riding the Roger Rabbit ride because it was a crazy ride. I thought it was the scariest ride we went on. When the ride was over, Ethan was very upset, and took off running back to it when I was about to put him in the stroller. He was yelling, "Rabbi! Rabbi! Hug!" I guess he LOVED the ride!

Now it was Tigger's turn for his big hug from Ethan.

Waiting in line was torturous for Ethan. He held out his

arms to Tigger the entire 20 minute wait in line. Ethan was trying to give Tigger another hug. When I told Ethan to say goodbye to Tigger he gave him a kiss on his big nose. It was so cute! I need to start having people come over to our house dressed up in costumes. It would make Ethan's day! He just loves all these guys!

As you can see, we had a SPECTACULAR day at Disneyland! Thanks Ethan, Kelly, and Dylan for making my birthday a special one!

My birthday didn't end there! Dan organized a lovely dinner with our friends, Justin and Elaine at P.F. Changs in Pasadena. I honestly don't know how I ate lettuce wraps, an entire plate of Mongolian Beef, white rice, half a plate of fried rice, some cheesecake, and a mini chocolate cake shot dessert! The meal was amazingly delicious! After dinner we went to a very late comedy show at The Ice House. The show started at around 11:15 and we didn't end up getting home until around 2am! Thanks Dan, Justin, and Elaine for celebrating with me! I love you guys!

Exercising at Balboa Park

About two days a week Ethan and I meet our friends Alison and Aja at Balboa Park for a two hour walk around the lake. On our last walk we calculated it out to be a little more than five miles. Ethan has a really hard time sitting in the stroller for that long and wants to be carried. Alison offered to carry Ethan the last half hour and Ethan fell asleep in her arms. It's funny how being pushed in a stroller can wear you out!

Happy Easter everyone! We hope you all had a fun day. As you can tell from this first photo, Ethan had a wonderful day! At the moment he has 4 teeth coming in all at once so he has been a little crabby lately. Thankfully in the afternoon Dan and I were able to take a break from Mr. Crabs and go to a Laker Game with our friends, The (soon-to-be) Parkers...they are getting married on May 2nd!

MOPS Easter Egg Hunt

Today Ethan participated in his first Easter Egg Hunt. He did a pretty good job for how little and inexperienced he was. After the hunt was over we hung out at the park with our cousins and friends.

A Marvelous Monday

Ethan and I had such a marvelous day today. We started it out by taking a LONG walk around Balboa Park with our friend Aja (she was the lovely friend that introduced us to Buddy and Emery's new family). After that Ethan had an audition in Hollywood. We were right down the street from The Grove...one of my favorite places...so we stopped by for a fun afternoon together.

Today was a very sad but very happy day for us Klawers. We finally gave away our two amazing dogs to a lovely couple in Hollywood. We have been thinking about finding Bud and Em a new home for about the last year. This perfect couple just fell into our laps last week. They ended up being a friend of a friend that has been thinking about getting a Boston Terrier for about a year now. Now they have two! We are so happy for Buddy and Emery! They are going to be loved dearly and have so much fun at their new home.
